The Vittles platform is a peer-to-peer meal sharing app designed to strengthen community and increase access to food within university spaces. It allows students and faculty to connect, coordinate, and share meals through a simple meet-up system.
How it works
Three Steps to Swipe
STEP 01
Request a Swipe
Hungry? Pick your dining hall, choose a time, and submit a request. Vittles finds a participating verified student nearby who can help.
STEP 02
A Fellow Student Helps Out
A fellow student with an extra swipe sees your request and accepts it. You’ll both see a live meeting screen with walk times and status updates.
STEP 03
Meet & Eat
Head to the dining hall, get swiped in, and enjoy your meal. No cash, no payment — just a swipe and maybe a new friend!

We're live at Columbia University and rolling out to other campuses soon! If your campus isn't listed, request it — we expand based on dining hall systems and student demand.
Every account is verified through your .edu email. Profiles show mutual connections and shared meals. You can report any issues to our team and campus public safety at any time. For emergencies, call 911.
